  • Third year (12 credits: 300 hours) A.S. Dott.ssa Adriana Platone adriana.platone@gmail.com
Student experimentation within the profession. The in-depth area of study concerns experimentation of the ability to analyse and manage the different variables that determine the quality of performance, the strengthening of ability to develop a specific social intervention project, at the level of primary and secondary networks, in the context of a broader planning context

Internship / traineeship activities include compulsory attendance and are carried out in public and private social services with which the University stipulates a specific agreement. The internship student is accompanied by a social worker with the functions of company tutor/supervisor, who will certify the actual presence of the student during the internship.

Evaluation of the internship is summarised in terms of suitability or non-suitability, based on the evaluation of a written report, drawn up by the student, and on the basis of an intermediate and final evaluation carried out between the internship organisational tutor, company tutor-supervisor and student, in agreement with the Professor of Theories, Methods and Techniques of the Social Service of reference for that year of the Course of Studies. In the event of non-suitability, after careful evaluation by the Teacher of Theories, Methods and Techniques of the Social Service with the internship organisational Tutor, it is possible to integrate or repeat the internship.

It is also possible to formulate a "concerted internship" project with the service for third year students, also oriented towards the final exam of the degree course. In this case, the organization becomes both the training provider and the beneficiary of the results of the internship project.
