Internships and placements for SPA

Degree course Political science and public administration (SPA 22/23)

Students enrolled in the 3rd year of the three-year degree course in POLITICAL SCIENCES and PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION - SPA, according to the provisions of their study plan, must carry out an internship (curricular) of 200 hours (the duration is variable: from a minimum of 1 month up to a maximum of 12 months or 24 months for people with disabilities) which entitles you to the recognition of 4 academic credits*.

The internship can only be started after completing all the exams scheduled for the first year of the course (including English for students enrolled up to the 2015/2016 academic year) and must be completed before graduation (check graduation deadlines).

Students can carry out an internship at any institution, both public and private, profit or non-profit, in Italy and abroad, which is prepared to accept them and which can be identified:

• independently, by the students themselves

• by a teacher

• by applying for offers in the Internship Notice Board area

• by contacting Bodies, Institutions, Trade Associations, Professional Orders in agreement with the University

To activate the internship start-up procedure, and in order to allow adequate evaluation of pre-requisites, you must visit the Internship Office at least 15 days before the desired start date with:

• the completed Data Sheet form

• an updated CV

• the list of exams taken

• the certificate relating to the mandatory online Health & Safety in the workplace course.

NB: In the event that the host institution has not yet undersigned an agreement for curricular internships with the University, the administrative time required for the start of the practice could be longer
