FAQs
Degree course Economics, Management and Institutions (EMI 22/23)
Can some exams taken in a four-year degree course (old system) or in a Master's degree be recognised for credits?
Yes, if they pertain to subjects relevant to the chosen programme, and at the discretion of the coordinator of the course itself and the Chair of the Course Council.
Do the study paths included in the EMI Master's programme allow access to the state exams for Chartered Accountant?
The LM-56 degree class does, since it is equivalent to the previous 64 / S, which provided for access to the state exam for Chartered Accountant; however, the LM-76 degree class does not allow access to the aforementioned state exam.
Can I draft an individual study plan?
Only in very exceptional cases, by agreeing the aforementioned plan with the coordinator of the degree programme and with the thesis supervisor.
I am a working student and I do not have the opportunity to devote myself to full-time university study, are there less intense study plans possible?
Yes, even if the Degree Course normally lasts two years, there is the possibility of opting for a part-time course lasting three or four years, each with a proportional reduction in the teaching load of each year.
Can I take the exams even without attending classes?
Yes, since it is the responsibility of each teacher to keep the web page of their teaching updated on the website https://www.dir.uniupo.it/ on a weekly basis, in order to allow also non-attending students to keep up with the classroom-based lessons.
