1 – Admission application to a specialist master programme

A Specialist Master’s qualification is a "course of scientific specialisation and higher education, permanent and recurrent" and may be of 1st or 2nd level:

1. You can enrol at a 1st level course if you have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree;
2. You can enrol at a 2nd level course if you have a Master’s degree

Specialist Masters’ courses activated by DIGSPES Department last one academic year and provide 60 academic credits. They are not always a regular event as they are offered year to year to provide, with elasticity and ductility, opportunities for continuous updating and specialisation.

Please Note: the Italian Specialist Master’s qualification is NOT equivalent to the traditional Master’s degree

On the UPO website there is a complete list of the Specialist Master’s Programmes activated by the university and it is possible to filter the programmes according to the department that offers them.

To submit your admission application, refer to the notice published for each master in which you can find the deadline, as well as the list of documentation to be produced and the procedures to send the documents. It is necessary to attach the signed privacy policy to the application even if the notice does not expressly require it.

It is important to carefully follow the instructions for sending the application, especially with regard to any attachments in the absence of which your request could be rejected.

• Academic qualifications obtained in Italy: According to the legislation in force it is mandatory to self-certify to Public Administrations possession of qualifications and they cannot request/ accept original certificates or their copies.

• Foreign academic qualifications: According to the legislation in force it is mandatory to submit your original foreign qualification complete with legalized translation and declaration of value or, as an alternative to the latter, declaration of compatibility issued by CIMEA, unless otherwise stated in the notice of your course of interest (the original documents will be presented to the University at the time of enrolment, the documents must be delivered to the university exactly as they were issued
  by the Italian representation, without removing any staples and with all stamps
  intact. Bundles that have been opened will not be accepted).
